Joey Bonin, PT, DPT

Impact Physical Therapist

Joey developed an interest in physical therapy at a young age after receiving treatment for sports-related injuries while growing up in Banks, Oregon (Go Braves). A lifelong athlete, he played football and baseball throughout high school and has always had a passion for strength training and weightlifting. These experiences inspired him to pursue a career helping others recover from injury, improve performance, and achieve their goals.

Joey earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from Pacific University and went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2026. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, he proudly served for five years in the United States Air Force and Oregon Air National Guard, where he held multiple roles, including managing his squadron’s physical fitness program.

Joey values building meaningful relationships with his patients, listening to their stories, and helping them return to the activities that matter most. Drawing from both personal and professional experience, he enjoys guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey and empowering them to reach their full potential. His clinical interests include sports performance, functional fitness, nutrition and supplementation, and helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals.

Outside the clinic, Joey enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing golf with his friends, competing in the Hillsboro Men’s softball league, camping, and cheering on the Oregon Ducks football team.
